Today, the Teamsters Local 25 Training Program attended the Massachusetts Girls in Trades Conference and Career Fair at
IBEW Local 103
in Dorchester. More that 400 young women from area vocational high schools participated in the conference, learned about potential careers in the trades and the opportunities that exist when you are a union member.
Special thanks to Local 25 member and CDL student Kaleigh Burns for volunteering to speak to the young women about careers as a Teamster. Kaleigh is a member of the Trade Show and Movie Division. She also got to speak with Governor
Charlie Baker
about the CDL training program and the work she has done as a member of Teamsters Local 25 working in the motion picture industry.
This week is National Apprenticeship Week.
