Today, we honor the bravery of those who stormed the beaches on D-Day, forever etching their sacrifice into history. 81 years ago today, during World War II, troops from the U.S., U.K., Canada, & other countries invaded the beaches at Normandy in northern France. Thousands lost their lives. Today we remember them. Lest we forget.
