Teamsters Local 251 testify at the RI Capitol for legislation that addresses worker protections on the job during extreme weather. House Bill #7650: The Extreme Temperature Employee Protection Act, would give workers paid rest breaks, adequate shade, warming or cooling stations, drinking water, personal protective equipment, and other protections from extreme cold or humidity.
