TEAMSTERS LOCAL 170 MEMBERS AT CLARK UNIVERSITY ON STRIKE
Clark University Student Employees, represented by Teamsters Local 170, are on strike.
Teamsters Local 170 presented a nearly complete contract to the university more than six months ago. These members continue to live below the poverty level and struggle to make ends meet. They live day-to-day, basically in survival mode.
“The University seems to think a timeline of a year or more of continued poverty is acceptable, this vote should send the message that it is not acceptable,” Teamster Gia Davis said.
