Striking i-Health workers represented by Teamsters Local 671

Striking i-Health workers represented by Teamsters Local 671 have extended their picket lines to Cromwell, Conn., and Lexington, Mass. 👊
i-Health is owned by the multibillion-dollar corporation DSM-Firmenich, which refused for months to bargain in good faith with workers who joined the Teamsters. Members are fighting for a contract that guarantees fair pay and benefits and protects them from being forced to work unreasonably long hours. They are prepared to stay on the picket line for as long as it takes to secure a fair Teamsters agreement.
“i-Health thinks they can bully us into giving up the union representation we fought so hard to secure,” said Justin Donahue, an i-Health Teamster. “By showing up on the picket line every day, we are sending a message that we will not give in to their intimidation.”
