LOCAL 653 BUS MEMBERS RALLY IN MIDDLEBORO
Teamster members who drive mini-buses in Middleboro, Massachusetts rallied to day to protest unfair treatment.
The 10 drivers, who transport children with special needs, protested the outsourcing of good union jobs in addition to the Town of Middleboro’s refusal to pay hazard pay that is being offered to other town employees.
“Teamster drivers are essential, but the Town of Middleboro has already forgotten that,” said Bill Trask, Local 653 President and Business Agent. “We’re here to let them know that you can’t ignore the very people who make the town move.”
