CT TEAMSTERS TESTIFY FOR WAREHOUSE PROTECTIONS & UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE FOR STRIKERS 
This past week, Local 671 Teamsters Union workers delivered powerful remarks at the Connecticut General Assembly Labor Committee, testifying for warehouse worker protections and unemployment insurance for striking workers. Their personal stories and experiences spoke to the need for stronger protections. It’s time for lawmakers to support these workers and all working families, and to create an equal playing field between workers and abusive bosses. It is time to end the practice of exploitative quotas and illegal stalling at the negotiating table!
