Ed Markey Solidarity With Local 42
I’m proud to be in solidarity with Teamsters Local #42. Good paying union jobs hold our community and economy together, and I applaud unwavering efforts to organize for fair wages and benefits. No worker should have to worry about keeping a roof over their head, putting food on the table, or paying for their health care. I urge RXO to bargain in good faith. Teamsters Local 42 workers deserve a fair contract that recognizes their work.
Collective bargaining rights have been, and always will be, the building blocks of the middle class and a vehicle for workplace equity. Workers are stronger when they can bargain together, which is why I will continue working to protect and expand federal labor protections.
