DICHELLO DISTRIBUTORS MEMBERS RATIFY NEW FIVE-YEAR CONTRACT
Local 443 Teamsters at Dichello Distributors overwhelmingly ratified a new five year agreement on Sunday.
The contract includes a $1,000.00 signing bonus, wage increases each year and maintained the New England Teamster Pension and Teamster Health and Welfare benefits.
“Ten years ago Dichello members were locked out for 56 days. Five years ago Dichello members went on a 72-day strike. It’s good to be able to bring this offer to the membership knowing that they have the security of wages, Teamster Pension and Health and Welfare for the next five years,” said Sal Abate, Teamsters Secretary-Treasurer and Principal Officer.
