SEAN O’BRIEN ADDRESSES BOSTON’S LABOR GUILD
Joint Council 10 Secretary-Treasurer Sean O’Brien was the guest speaker at the Labor Guild’s School of Labor-Management Relations Monday night.
O’Brien focused on several subject such as autonomous vehicles within the transportation industry, political action and the importance of educating and embracing the next generation of trade unionists.
“The Labor Guild is a valuable resource for all of organized labor. I am proud and honored to have participated last night,” O’Brien said. “The Guild provides the education and empowerment for Union Leaders, and rank and file members. The staff at the Guild does a tremendous job and should be recognized for their commitment and unwavering support of the labor movement.”
Founded in 1945, the Labor Guild is an agency of the Archdiocese of Boston. It promotes “good order and justice in today’s workplace by inspiring, motivating and helping men and women to act with conscience, know-how and courage in labor-management relations.”
